These terms govern use of Unlocked Advisory Time, the time-recording application operated by Unlocked Advisory at time.unlockedadvisory.com. By signing in, you agree to them.
Who may use it
This is a private business tool, not a public service. It is for consultants and contractors engaged by Unlocked Advisory whose email address has been added to the authorised list. Access is granted and withdrawn at Unlocked Advisory's discretion, and typically ends when an engagement ends.
Your account
You sign in using your own Google account. Do not share access or let anyone else record time as you. Tell us promptly at kari@unlockedadvisory.com if you believe your access has been misused.
Accurate records
Time entries are used to invoice Unlocked Advisory's clients. You agree to record only time you actually worked, against the correct client, and to describe the work honestly. Entries are reviewed before invoicing, and Unlocked Advisory may amend or decline an entry.
Acceptable use
- Use the application only for recording time on Unlocked Advisory engagements.
- Do not attempt to gain access to data belonging to other users or to the underlying systems.
- Do not enter client-confidential detail in a work description beyond what is needed to identify the work. Descriptions may appear on client invoices.
Availability
The application is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change, suspend or discontinue it at any time. Keep your own note of hours if you need certainty during an outage.
Records and data
Time entries recorded here are business records of Unlocked Advisory. Personal information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Unlocked Advisory is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of, or inability to use, this application. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable there.
